In 1998 headhunted by MTG, a leading media conglomerate in Sweden, to establish one of their subsidiaries, SDI – a subtitling and dubbing company, in Asia. Since time was of the essence, Media Watchers Limited, a pan-Asian language versioning company was purchased and became SDI Asia. Torun as Chairman was responsible for all operations in Asia till 2003 when he left and started Medi-Lan Limited in the same line of business. Thanks to the support of the media industry, it became one of the largest subtitling and dubbing service providers in Asia.

Founder and partner in Media Watchers Limited, a pan-Asian subtitling and dubbing company based in Hong Kong. He has been a dubbing artist; established Sound Watchers Limited in the 80’s to provide Cantonese, English and Mandarin dubbing service; and one of the first to provide Vietnamese and Cambodian dubbing for the home entertainment and broadcasting industries. Managing Director of SDI Asia after the acquisition of Media Watchers, Director of Medi-Lan Limited and responsible for all dubbing activities in the company.
